We Two! – A Journey of Love, Lessons, and Legacy
We Two! is the powerful true-life story of a single father unexpectedly called to raise his pre-teen daughter when her mother, overwhelmed by her behavior, could no longer cope. Faced with the challenge, he turns to an unlikely mentor—the game of golf.
Through the discipline, patience, and self-awareness that the quiet wisdom of the sport demands, he instills in his daughter the timeless values needed to truly know oneself—values that, once embraced, last a lifetime. Together, they discover that growth is forged in the heat of trials and tribulations, both real and perceived, and that every journey carries a purpose and love is the ultimate fairway.
The creative evolution of We Two! has been as inspiring as the story itself—
- First shared at a storytelling event at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit, MI
- Brought to life as a one-man show workshop at The AO Studio in New York City
- Expanded into a two-person black box performance at The Ensemble Theatre in Houston, TX

Now, we are seeking support to bring We Two! to its full potential:
- A live, full-stage theatrical production
- A Film/TV teleplay adaptation to be broadcast on EMVAD TV, our international SVOD platform amplifying underrepresented voices
This is more than a story—it’s a movement. A testament to the power of love, resilience, and the lessons we pass on.
