Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Gerald Barrett began his dance journey at age 10, training locally in ballet, jazz, and modern dance. His early dedication earned him acceptance into two of the nation’s most prestigious institutions—the Juilliard School and the Boston Conservatory—where he pursued his BFA in Dance.
Gerald further honed his artistry at the Alvin Ailey American Dance School in New York City before joining the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble in Rochester, Michigan. Over his career, he has captivated audiences as a featured dancer, choreographer, and instructor across the U.S., Europe, South America, and Canada.
